Dylans 10 month pictures

Yesterday while Isaac was out of town to Orlando I went to take Dylan to get his pictures taken. I went back to Portrait Innovations, and they did a great job as always. I've gotten a little off track. The goal was to have them taken every 3 months, but somehow I got off track. He's close to 11 months now and I should of had them done at 9 months. Oops! How will I ever manage when I have more kids? He took some great pictures and it was so hard to choose. I stuck to my guns and only got two poses. I was so sad not to qualify for the CD of pictures that you get when you buy enough of the different poses. Oh well! I plan on getting more shots when we have it done for his 1 year pictures. I hope everyone likes them!

Smile for the camera

Okay, I know this is coming from his Mama, but don't you think he could be a baby model. I don't think it gets much cuter than this. I took this picture on Monday when Dylan was doing one of his new favorite things, opening and closing the door. It is so funny to watch him do it. He'll have the door almost shut all of the way, then he swings it so that it is all the way open. He crawls back and forth just opening and closing the door. He also tries to reach for the door knob when the door is closed all of the way. Smart kid, huh. Smart and so very cute and photogenic!

Easter Sunday

I hope that everyone enjoyed their Easter as much as we enjoyed ours this year. It is always nice to take time to remember our Savior and his atoning sacrifice for each of us. It is hard to comprehend the magnitude of it. I am so thankful for a perfect Savior and I know that He lives!

We spent the day with my family and attended church with my parents. Dylan had fun playing with Katelyn's old rocking horse. I was amazed to see what a natural he was on it. It must be that Wyoming blood that he has in him. I always knew he was a cowboy!
So, here are the pictures that I would like to post. I'd also like to add how much I love my family. I consider them my best friends and I have so much fun when we can all get together.

The Ashment Family

This picture isn't the best of me but I was trying to get Dylan to look at the camera.
Here is the loot that Dylan got from the Easter bunny. He got a stuffed animal, rubber duckies, a duck that blows bubbles, and a book, The Tale of Peter Rabbit.
Here is a cute picture of Dylan and Aunt Kara.
I thought that Kara and Madeleine looked so cute together. They were in matching outfits!
Dylan and Maddy were playing so cute together!
Kara and I kept on trying to get a cute picture of the kiddos in their Easter outfits. But like most babies, they were not cooperating very well. I think this is the best one I got and it just cracks me up! Aren't their expressions so funny?

There's hope for us yet!

Hooray! Dylan FINALLY began taking his sippy cup. I was beginning to get worried that he would still be taking his bottle at 5! But alas my persistence has paid off.
After trying almost every different kind of sippy cup on the market, Gerber is the winner!

Look at how sweet Dylan is when he is sleeping! Some of the positions that he gets in does make me wonder, how in the world could he be comfortable sleeing like that?
See what I mean? Look at his legs in the picture above and his arm in the picture below.

It's all in the genes

One of Dylan's favorite things to get in to is my bag of tools that I use for work. Because I only work at the salon on Saturdays, I always bring all of my stuff home at the end of my shift for safe keeping. It is so funny to see how much Dylan enjoys getting into my stuff and playing with my brushes.

"You know you're in love when you can't fall asleep because reality is finally better than your dreams." -Dr. Seuss

Yesterday Isaac and I celebrated our two year anniversary. Well, I guess we didn't really celebrate it yet (we plan on doing that this weekend) because Isaac was gone out of town for business. I was so happy to have him come home! I don't think that I'll ever get used to him having to travel, but when he's gone it always makes me realize how much I miss him. He has brought me such joy over the past couple of years and it seems like each year just keeps on getting better. When I look at pictures from our wedding day I can't believe how young we look. I feel like we have really matured together over the past two years and I look forward to watching us grow together throughout the years. I am so lucky to have been able to have found the man of my dreams. I love you Isaac!

Dylan the explorer

Dylan is quite adventurous these days. One day he's completely inside the cupboard, the next he's dangling from the top drawer of my dresser. It amazes me how fast he is. When we moved into our new house, the first thing he did was go straight to the steps and crawl up to the very top. Here are some cute pictures I took the other day of him playing with the washing machine.
