Our new blog

Well, here it is, the Ashment family blog. I can't guarantee that I will be good about keeping this blog current, but I'm going to try.

Our latest family news is that we will be moving at the end of February. Our new place is going to be a townhouse less than a mile away from where we're at now. I'm so excited to get out of this one bedroom apartment. Isaac and I have been sleeping in the living room while Dylan has our bedroom all to himself. What a life!

Dylan is growing up so fast! He is now a crawler and chases me around the house. He can also pull himself up to standing position. About three weeks ago, I went to get him out of his crib when I had the biggest shock to see him with the biggest smile on his face as he looked out at me while he was standing up in his crib. What a silly boy! He also has developed two teeth at the bottom of his mouth. It makes me so sad to see him grow so fast. He will be walking before I know it.

My last tidbit of information is that last week I took Dylan to baby story time at the Kennesaw library. It was a blast! We got to sing the itsy bitsy spider, twinkle, twinkle, little star, among others, and have a book read to us, and then, the best part of all, they filled the room with bubbles at the end. Dylan had never experienced bubbles before, and he was quite impressed. It was fun to see him interact around other babies. I definitely think we will do storytime on a regular basis.
