Okay, I wanted to show off my new toy. For Christmas, as my big present, I got a sewing machine. But after fiddling around with it numerous times I could never get the darn thing to work. Here is a picture of the sewing machine I got for Christmas.
So, I was pretty frustrated. I went by and upgraded to a Bernina, and I LOVE IT!!!! Here is a picture of my new sewing machine.
My first project was to cover some pillows for my couch I am inheriting. I was so lucky to have my Mom help me out. Here is a before picture of the pillow.
Now here is the after.
I felt so proud of myself to be so crafty. I love the fabric that I picked out. My next project is to sew the valance out of this fabric for my window treatment.
